oh no geuss what i found

i already had a idea as in my shed i keep old news papers for masking up, and about a fortnight ago i got some out and they were all shreded up and i found mouse droppings

 

anyway yesterday me and lindsey decided to move our kids play house to give us a better garden space we had to take it to bits as its a big wooden one, so we got it all in bits started lifting the floor base up and a mouse ran out from under neath, so we lifted the floor base up gingerly and found all my old newspaper and leaves and holes in the soil i proded at the news paper and ............ yes found five baby mice.

 

we moved the nest into a bucket then finished moving the play house and eventually in the evening the mouse returned so i put part of its nest suround in a celebration tin and proped the lid up with a gadget tied to some wire and second atempt of the mouse entering caught it

 

then i moved them all out to the country side

 

pheeeeew nearly had six mice running wild

i love pets i cant kill them ive got a cat and 2 gerbils and gonna get some guinea pigs again soon

Dont mind mice, hate the rats though, my Da breeds pheasants and we were plauged with them for a while, I remember one time at work we had a pipe into the ground vertically so we could pump ground water out and checked it one morning and there were 3 shrews stuck down it so before i stuck the pump down i broke off a bit of branch and they all climbed to safety

my 'safe' trap would have included your cat somewhere along the line. Definately not have any problems with mice and your cat is happy

I don't mind mice (outside) but not rats. Er, neither do the terriers, they have a had a fair few that stray into the garden over the years, that's what they are for.....

wild rats i can understand, but domestic rats are the funnyest things ever there also much cleaner than say a hamster

Yeah I meant wild rat. Oh and we had mice in one of the vans! First sign was ripped up tissue in the glove box, and they made a nest by one of the rear lights! So I put the littlest terrier in, and nearly lost her behind the dash! The are very much gone now though

nice 1 mate usaly are cat gets them first thens sick for the rest of the day as he like to chew there head
