stevepeanut Posted March 9, 2009 Report Posted March 9, 2009 9 of us went for my brothers stag party. King amazing place, but pricey, cheapest pint was £4.50 and then anything upwards, mostly around a £5 a pint but my mate paid £8 for a bottle of lager. Nicest people you could ever meet. 12 am pissed up on Sat night walking to the hotel I shouted at some doris in a subaru impreza "oi, you aint got ya lights on!" she winds her window down and says thanks. My dad says "you coulda got in a crash, glad we saved you, least you can do is drive us to our hotel". So she tells us to get in and drops us off, that would never happen where I live in England. Blew over £300 in 2 and a half days but worth every penny, gonna go back with the missus at some point soon.
Burns Posted March 9, 2009 Report Posted March 9, 2009 sounds like a right laugh, me and my mates are planning a trip here in summer, any places you would reccommend?
stevepeanut Posted March 9, 2009 Author Report Posted March 9, 2009 pubs pubs and more pubs, and loads of guiness, but get a few beers in you and take a ride on the viking splash, it goes along on the roads and then into the canal doing a tour of the city its a right laugh
Pipster007 Posted March 9, 2009 Report Posted March 9, 2009 I've helped the Irish economy numerous times in various licenced establishments
