eastash Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 A few pics of my mk1 1300L which is a very rare model. All original panels and mostly original paint. I've had the car about 8 years now. Before that it had been lying around for about 6 years. So therefore the paint was ever so slightly flat. It took a lot of work to get the paint up. The front discs looked like they'd been in the sea for about 10 years totally had it. And everything bolted to the shell was totally rusted. The seats fell to pieces after being in the sun. Managed to get a complete ghia interior apart from the dash. But I had to travel a 500 mile round trip for them. Since I've had the car I've fitted new Discs Reconditioned brake calipers Brake hoses Escort mk4 wheels Headlights Ball joints Poly bushes Heater matrix Rear wiper motor Heater fan XR2 servo Escort mk4 master cylinder Set of clocks Electronic ignition Manual choke kit Shocks
