Ebay goods not sent

So I won a NOS item I was after on March 16th, paid the same day and 11 days later still nothing received and no response to two queries sent about its whereabouts.

 

So how long do I wait before opening a dispute and starting proceedings to get my cash back? He's received feedback for other items that ended after the auction I won so I'm assuming he's not happy that it didn't sell for more and doesn't plan to send it at all.

I thought it was 14 days before you can open a dispute about it.

Not really sure ... he may be on holiday. I would prob give it until Monday evening (2 weeks) and then contact flea-bay and put in a complaint/dispute claim.

if you click on open a dispute, it normally tells you the earliest date you can open the dispute, I think it might be 2 weeks. I'd do it as soon as ebay lets you if theres no responce from him. Its out of order if he hasnt replied to your emails.

 

Happened to me ages ago I won a set of farings for a gsxr bike, paid with paypal, and they never turned up. Sent about 20 emails and every single one was ignored. Had to claim the money back via paypal.

Looks like the timescale is between 10 and 45 days to open a dispute.

you can apply to ebay and they will email you his address, so you could always pay him a friendly visit

I've already requested the sellers details but to call him/her on my mobile from here will cost me almost as much as the item sold for so I'll have to wait till get home (Sunday) before calling about it.

 

As to are they on holiday, they've sent out goods for auctions that finished after mine as others have left feedback for them so they obviously aren't away.

I HAD SAME PROBLEM WITH AN ITEM AND GOT A REFUND FROM EBAY BUT THEY ONLY REFUND TO THE MAX PRICE OF £100.00,I PAID £140.00 SO LOST £40.00

I have just had my 2nd NON-PAYER in as many weeks , despite sending 2 e-mail messages through eBay

eBay states 7 days only before a non-paying dispute...so i have started both today .

 

See where your coming from Vista , mine have both bought other stuff and payed AFTER my auction finished....on well , nowt worse than a bit of negative feedback

Never send anything out until the money is in the paypal account or the cheque is cleared. It's basics. At least the buyer is covered if you pay and nothing turns up. ebay is full of chancers. My pet hate is people that pull auctions 5 minutes from the end when you are winning the item for a bargain price.

i did'nt know you could do that i thought once it was down in the last 12 hrs that was it,

 

ebay are pretty good with despuit's though but it work's both way's send him anouther email telling him you are going to report him to ebay unless he answer's you,because ebay will look at the other email's you have already sent to him

Well, phoned her up today and had a pleasent chat about it had been two weeks etc etc. She told me she'd had a car accident 2 days after auction end and her husband was supposed to have sent it all out, blah blah. He was back in from work at 6 and she'd ask him and call me back.................................

 

 

7.35pm and no call back yet. Was that all flannel? Possibly but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt for a few more days before taking it further.

I had that last year with a set of lowering blocks,turned up 6 weeks later with post marks from everywhere in the uk.started in sumerset so not far from plymouth.i reported the seller to ebay after speaking to them,and being told to buy another set.
