i knew no-one would get it, it means ''fooking hell back to bastard work after a great bank holiday weekend off'' .

 

salt mine is an expression of work/job.

I know the feeling it took me until lunch time to get any enthusiasm and by then it was time to start winding down

i layed some victorian edging kerp thingys then got to smash up a shed

I had 5 lofts to do today, first 4 customers all refused to let me in, for various reasons. Job 5 let me in, was finished for 11am, rang the office and asked for more work, sat for 4 hours in the van, and they never phoned me back so at 3pm I dropped my paperwork in at the yard and went home

Well today i had to work with two guys i dont really know and between us we moved 22 tonne of rubbish.

I had to drive the truck down tight terraced street's with car's randomly parked all over the place

thats the only problem with having time of work (going back)
