The AVO club has been trying to get chrome ones reproduced with out any luck so far, but they do have repro grey ones which I'm led to believe were also available when new. \They're £8.50 each, are you a member?

i can remember buying a set about 15 years ago brand new plastic ones all shiney looking for pennys.I wish i'd of kept them now ........

Okay here they are, remembering that originally the wheels were grey on mk1's rather than black like mine and yours, the grey centre cap goes very well with a grey wheel. I don't have one with a black wheel though.

In 2 years I've only seen one chrome set come up for sale on ebay and they went for well over £100 as I recall.

No mate my strips on my car are black but yours look yellow ish ....

doh yeah the colour was ochre and was available on the Daytona yellow RS2000.

 

Vista Orange was only available for the last 6 months or so of production at Aveley and it's not really known how the RS2's left the factory, though it is known that the mex's came almost exclusively with black decals.

 

I think the ochre and vista go really well together, black would be too much for the size of the RS stripes IMHO
