Does a scimitar have 3 ltr capri running gear?

Anyone know if the scimitar with v6 in it has capri running gear

looking at one at weekend for using the axle & struts for my mk1 cortina v8 conversion

Definately not capri struts. Could be Cappa back axle. 3 litre essex for most of them with a rear bowl sump

Think front suspension is Triumph and rear is MGB

Only the engine i think, deffo not capri axle or front susspension (that's all that was left on the one i scrapped last year) the box was an overdrive unit and not capri either, no idea if it was a zephyr unit or not though ?

Mk4 Zody box, and just happens to be the best 4 speed Ford built for the UK market, probably not Ratio wise, but strength, its unrivaled, I know Steve Green only used to use them in the first version of his Mk1 Cortina

I cant be sure But it may be related to the famous mustang "TopLoader" or that my be the Mk3 box??
