GJUK Posted April 19, 2009 Report Posted April 19, 2009 Well, tomorrow morning the car goes to my local garage to be rebuilt. It's currently in quite a sorry state! So, about £2,000 later it should be finished. Wish me luck, I've never done anything like this before, or should I say paid for anything like this before. J

jimmyjames Posted April 20, 2009 Report Posted April 20, 2009 I did the same, was the best thing. Had done loads of bits to the car but never really seemed to get any closer to finishing it. So had some welding and the spray job done in one go. And it was great to see the car so close to completion, that the enthusiasm suddenly came back. Good luck with it
GJUK Posted April 20, 2009 Author Report Posted April 20, 2009 Where you taking it? B & R Motor Repairs. The guys seem nice and have a few mk1 and mk2 of their own. I've seen their work and it looks good enough for me. Jon
