The day has arrived

Well, tomorrow morning the car goes to my local garage to be rebuilt.

 

It's currently in quite a sorry state!

 

 

So, about £2,000 later it should be finished.

 

Wish me luck, I've never done anything like this before, or should I say paid for anything like this before.

No I meant I've never paid anyone to fix it. The roof is staying on this one.

I did the same, was the best thing. Had done loads of bits to the car but never really seemed to get any closer to finishing it. So had some welding and the spray job done in one go. And it was great to see the car so close to completion, that the enthusiasm suddenly came back. Good luck with it

The guys seem nice and have a few mk1 and mk2 of their own. I've seen their work and it looks good enough for me.
