Airbag Posted May 2, 2009 Report Posted May 2, 2009 Looking at some alloys, they are 15x7, 4x108pcd, ET32 Cheers
vibrating_Cake Posted May 2, 2009 Report Posted May 2, 2009 with some 32mm spacers yes... could possibly get away with 20mm spacers but they will be tucked quite far in the arches

vibrating_Cake Posted May 2, 2009 Report Posted May 2, 2009 when i used 32mm spacers on the front whenever you went over a pothole the front wheels would "grab" the steering wheel out of your hand a lot more! but felt entirely planted otherwse!

you'll get 10s on that Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 The spacers are not directly accoutable for the change in handling but the theoretical offset they create when fitted...ie you would have the same effect fitting a wheel of 0 offset. Whats probably more important is that you attach the wheels and spacers to the car in a safe manner ...ie have sufficient thread engagement and utilise the correct type of nuts.
vibrating_Cake Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 theoretically no... but offset is a straaange thing! i ran some 16" oz superterismos (et45 or something daft) with 32mm spacers a while back, the wheel grab was awful. same wheels same tyres just ET15 with a 5mm spacer, not half as bad! or maybe my wheels were just screwed!
2.8i Cossie Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 just make sure you get the correct nuts when using spacers. I know two guys who have had a wheel come off at 70mph because they thought two threads would be enough to hold on the wheel and they didnt want to spend the money!
