Just got the escort back on the road and was planning to use it this week for work but saw today there going to resurface the bloody road so either got to use the volvo or risk stone chips and tar spots

half the time they dont fix them they just spray it with tar and throw that shail stuff over the top which lasts all of 6 months on a minor road usually done when the council have a bit of cash left over towards the end of the year that they feel they need to get rid of

Yeah this early in May they are gonna be doing work booked on last year's budget.

Thats exactly what they have done so i slow down to the 20mph limit and think the round ones to anyone behind me and some twatt going the other way doing about 50 and showers the escort in stones Im going in the volvo tomorrow

Well I work for the council doing highway design, not really any thing to do with maintenance though.
