**HELP**....insurance proof of no claims?????

so i took out a policy for the mk1 with admiral i had not used them before and filled it all in yes 4 years no claims (which is true)

 

they send my policy all through no problem

 

then 2 weeks later i get another letter from them 'why have i not sent proof of my no claims'

 

 

what the fook

 

and how do i give them proof of no claims [/b]

From your previous insurer. They will send you, or them a letter

i had this problem and i just rang the old insurer and told them to get it issued to the new insurance group

I moved from Admiral to Churchill for my daily driver, and Admiral sent me a proof of NCD no problem.

afaik you cannot have your no claims over two cars....

 

cos i have 4 years on mine atm but i wasnt able to put it on a classic policy. So now its sitting gathering dust as im on a company car

you also lose N/C if you dont use them in 2 years!

yeah but in my case ill be getting a nice letter from the company saying no problems while driving for them

Yup, you can only use your no claims on one policy/car.

Just rang my insurance company and asked if my 4 years NCB could be transfered over at renewal and they said no problem!!

 

now i hope they dont decide differently come july
