I dont know what to do with my car, im defo getting the bonnet repainted without the black and the front valance needs abit of work buttt i love how it looks but im so bored with the 2.0 pinto, should i sell it and get something different or do i stick a bigger engine in???

I think thats probably what ill do, they look nicer that YBs aswell :mrgreen: Anyone know how hard they are to fit into a Mk5??

Keep the car and play engines! :thumbsup: make sure you keep the 1.6 badge, sleepers are good 8) you can just see the 1.3 badge on my sig pic, and it's a 2.4 nasp YB....

i'd keep it and 24v it, twice the power of a standard pinto and easy enough to find.

 

it shouldn't be too hard to fit a v6 into a cortina. have a look on the fordpower forum, it seems to be one of the best places for info on the 24v it helped me out when i put a 24v in my old xr4i.

 

if you do go for a bigger engine don't forget you'll need to uprate the brakes to cope with the extra power and weight. i would also recommend fitting an lsd as well if you're gunna put the 24v in it. i ran my 24v xr4i with the standard diff and it was lethal especially in the wet
