type 9 box

I've got a 2ltr pinto engine to go into my cortina ,ive seen a type 9 gearbox for sale but its out of a prtrol transit. Now dose anyone now if the ratio's are diferent compared to a sierra type 9 or are they all the same ?

thought the transit boxes are bigger than sierra boxes or was it the diesel boxes that are bigger now sitting here waiting to be corrected

would'nt now !! its an old transit with a 2ltr pinto and 5 speed box.

how much is it have u seen it does it look overly big tho the sierra box is slightly longer than ur box any way

£50 with the engine , looks like a normal type 9 but it whats inside it . Im thinking its just the diff thats diferent and the box is the same as any other but not 100 percent ??

chances are it come out of a car any way then tbh for £50 for thee engine and box u cant go wrong in my opinion
