Guest Posted June 2, 2009 Report Posted June 2, 2009 Hello, Im Rich and Im 17, always wanted a Capri and Im in the process of taking my driving lessons (failed the test once ). I have a car at the moment, its a Mazda MX3 1.6, but its an auto. I have insurance on that as a second driver for about 700 pounds a year, does anyone have any idea if I could even get insured in a 1.6 capri? I thought perhaps the fact its an auto made it possible for me to be insured on a 1.6...? Thanks
Trevmk3 Posted June 2, 2009 Report Posted June 2, 2009 welcome to the site mate as for the capri insurance, your best bet is to start ringing round some companies to see how much it would cost you i think some people on here have had them as first cars before
lotusless Posted June 2, 2009 Report Posted June 2, 2009 welcome to the site m8, not sure about the insurance question you ask as its difficult for under 21's to get cover! but as is says above "i'm rich + i'm 17" you should be ok
Type49 Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 Welcome m8, nice choice of classic If you cant get insured, or its ££££'s, how bout being a named driver on a classic policy in your ma or pa's name?
