lhd1600e Posted June 15, 2009 Report Posted June 15, 2009 i have been to st Luke's today and handed the money in plus the 4 cans (that were full) thank you all so much for your support and generosity .. st Luke's will count the money and send me a letter with the amount we all raised . when i get the letter i will post it on the site . and i take it by the wonderful remarks you have added on your posts that you all would like me and Dan to do it again next year . so once again thank you all ... nigel

RICH-RS Posted June 15, 2009 Report Posted June 15, 2009 This was a thoroughly enjoyable weekend, really relaxed atmosphere, good chat till 1am sat night in marquee!, Excellent game of Rounders, even if i was out first bat! Someone had to cook the dinner! Loads of excellently cars turned out on sunday aswell. Hope the stand was ok as steve mk2 was unable to attend at last minuit so steve mk2 Dad and Tony stepped in to help. so the the banner did get an airing after all , (thanks jo). Well done to all the organisers at lhd cortina club.
steve mk2 Posted June 16, 2009 Report Posted June 16, 2009 i heard it was a good show sorry i couldnt make it last minuite decision to go to download festival dads got loads of pics il get him to upload them, i left the tank empty in my car hopeing he would fill it up and take it to the show but he didnt so gues i gotta put petrol in wen i get home
