X FLOW EDDY Posted June 28, 2009 Report Posted June 28, 2009 Buy it mate !! A guy in Grimsby has a viva with 200sx running gear in it on the street
Savvi Posted June 28, 2009 Author Report Posted June 28, 2009 I picked up a 2 door Viva the other day, 1974 one owner as said i'm looking for a front pipe but came across this car. Lee has the right idea .............. i'm thinking of it, the one i have would be superb base to start
lee_capri Posted June 28, 2009 Report Posted June 28, 2009 ermmmmmmmm savvi i might know were their is a 3.3 with 4-speed box mate if the guy is still takeing it out like he said last week but to be honest get that pinto in they you have a tidy body why spend more money on anouther when you can build your one with the cash
Savvi Posted June 28, 2009 Author Report Posted June 28, 2009 Cheers Lee I wouldn't buy another, it's just seeing that one has really made me think about doing a bit more than what i intended To make thing worse ................ or better........... i have a 205 pinto and 5 speed spare including carb dizzy etc. Certainly making me think.
lee_capri Posted June 28, 2009 Report Posted June 28, 2009 you could have it all in by tuesday and up and running
Savvi Posted June 28, 2009 Author Report Posted June 28, 2009 Just mailed the guy to ask how he did it etc.
lee_capri Posted June 28, 2009 Report Posted June 28, 2009 it's dead simple to do savvi you have to remove all the gear form your's is the 1300 you have in it rear sump, they have a big engine bay any-way if you can shoe horn a v8 in one with a jag back axle the pinto is well easy to do
emu Posted June 28, 2009 Report Posted June 28, 2009 I seem to remember reading somewhere recently that a Pinto slips straight into a viva with crossflow engine mounts
