sandblasting in sutton.....anyone?

I need to have my bonnet resprayed but to have the garage do it for me is going to cost around £300 but i thought if i clean it up a bit then might save me a bit of dosh.so what i ask is has anyone got a sand blasting thing (I am very technical) and know how to use it in the Sutton surrey area ...or is it a bad idea and shpuld i just put paint stripper and sand it down as this causes less damage but i am so lazy

only place i know of in sutton with a blaster big enough for a bonnet is Jura spray BUT, it will deffo buckle the crap out of it as its a proper industrial one so id personally go the paint stripper route
