  1. I didnt like the attention so sold my mk1 escort. Then built a 100e and was much less. Just nice actually lol
  2. hi all, i bought these half shafts years ago as spares and dont need them anymore so offering them here i bought these as was listed as 105e anglia half shafts but make sure they match what you have before you buy them and if you need other measurements i'll be pleased to get them for you. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v128/285andy/phonepictures242_zpsd3e18732.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v128/285andy/phonepictures241_zpsf8f4416a.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v128/285andy/phonepictures240_zpsc705b032.jpg the bearings spin quitely and seem smooth but change as you see fit. im looking for 85 quid which includes postage in the UK or collection from west wickham, kent and i'll knock the 15 quid postage off. can do paypal no problems tel 07944222711, cheers, andy.
  3. orange mk4 cortina is the bo***cks.. nuff said
  4. i bought one of them cheapo chinese turbo's (T3-4 or sumint) just for mock up as i needed to make a exhaust manifold and exhaust and as it had a v band exhaust housing it suited well. when i finished the car i thought sod it, i'll use it for a bit till i get a garrett t3. it boosted fine and ran 8 psi no problems but alllll the time i was just waiting for it to shatter lol! it didnt blow though in the few hundred miles it was on there! but now ive fitted a Garrett i must say that now turbo failure is far away on my list of things to worry about
  5. if your putting the fan infront of the rad (behind the grill) then you need a pusher. if your putting the fan behind the rad (ie in the engine bay) you need a puller. the air needs to be drawn or pushed in from the front of the car basically
  6. might the car have been converted from positive to negative earth? as this has the same effect on certain gauges. although im really not familier with the taunus at all so please feel free to shoot me down lol!
  7. i love seeing different combinations personally
  8. epic car.... one day lol! micky taking aside, i look foward to seeing it hit the streets
  9. wow thats a clean'un! 4 star is still around. not a lot of it though so might be a long round trip to the nearest one lol! http://www.difflock.com/buyersguide/4star_outlets.shtml
  10. looks great! looks well worth the price if you ask me
  11. really want a super strong trans and axle but i might need 2 grand for that lol so id start with a tran x lsd and some second hand 9" wide centerlines or 5 spokes revvy's for the rear and a pair of 6x13's revolutions or 14" centerlines for the front might have about 250-200 quid left so id spend that on some nice seats
  12. really dont understand the need to touch other peoples property?
  13. brilliant in every way
  14. v nice! love that colour
  15. great pictures mate! cheers for posting!
  16. got mine through Cannons on the Willow lane industial estate. cant remeber price though.... got a felling they where 24 quid for some reason?? http://www.cannonsltd.co.uk/
  17. no doesnt matter which side its on. but the chassis mount i bought second time around dictated the fit to the opposite side as it was a different make. it was nothing more technical than that...
  18. hi mate, i never found a dedicated 100e panard rod when i started mine either so i ended up making a escort one fit by cutting it down to length and altering a platform to fit http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v128/ ... 008002.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v128/ ... 008007.jpg inside boot- http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v128/ ... 008010.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v128/ ... 008004.jpg but then changed my mind and 5 linked it. still used the same bar though but just swapped the new platform to the other side http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v128/ ... 008002.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v128/ ... 008003.jpg
  19. when i was a younger kid it always seemed to be 185 60's on 6" rims round sutton. i never remember ever being that bothered about tyres and sizes back then though as long as they smoked lol!. but today im so glad there are 175 50's available as im not a fan of taller sidewalls
  20. these look identical to the ones i have in my 100e. they look good but the base part of the seat is really shallow and dont support your thighs much. i think they are quite uncomfortable personally
  21. good good!!!
  22. i usually get a real kick out of doing my own cars. as i work on other people's cars all day, every day it can seriously drain your enthusiasm, espesially when your fixing rust for 8 hours straight for days/weeks at a time!! so really i dont need much encouragment to do work on my own cars for a change
  23. sorry to see that mate. what a dirty fookin scanky basterd!
  24. regret selling this lol never selling the 100e now ive made it
  25. thats a real nice mk1 mate. 13"'s are always gonna look great on it. bubble arches are where 15's are better suited (personally)
