Most of the usb type will play but you need a dedicated ipod connecting to control the ipod.

I recommend the Alpine units as they work as a cd changer controlled from the head unit. You can run the lead else where such as the glovebox so the ipod is hidden away.

This is a good one for not too much money all the ipod leads are included

other option the ones with ISO connection i can just get an ISO lead and play it like i would just plugging the tape thing in? or is quality not as good like that

There's plenty of ways connecting to play Audio only, however you can change and control the ipod on these type of unit which in my opinion is better whilst driving and you want to change tracks etc.

yeah i really like the idea of that but its alot of money for something thats going to be very nickable in a mk1 fiesta, its very tempting though!!

I keep looking for some covers like retroglam has.

I think they would be a good seller if someone can supply them, at 1st glance they look very real and suit our type of car for shows etc, i used to sell them years ago but don't remember where they came.

Only my opinion but i would spend the extra money and buy this type otherwise you also have the ipod or wires showing which they would break in for anyway !!!

I can always fit an alarm for you

What was wrong with the cassette adaptor?

Probably 4 watts a channel was wrong with it  Youngsters eh? lmao

Works fine in mine and transmits to the speakers with the full capacity of the head unit :?

Sam glad you found something but with the plug on the front you will have cables and the ipod rattling around the gearstick :lol:

Once i have a confirmed price i will start a new for sale post, but i'm told they should be around a fiver + postage.
