Savvi Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 I took my lad to my old garage ........... i've rented this since i was at school and put my Dads old car in when he gave it to me when i was 16 .............. 26 years ago I did many a mk1 escort up in this garage and you can see i sill have some parts left over I lost my Dad 4 years ago and been thinking it would be nice to get this restored !!!! How Old Ford bits do you reconise ?

Savvi Posted August 22, 2009 Author Report Posted August 22, 2009 I've only ever kept it for sentimental value, i have pics of us on a camping holiday from when i was about 4 or 5 years old. It was taxed & mot'd when i put it away, i've probably seen it 5 times in the last 6 years or so It was in good nick i helped fit fibre glass wings when i was 13 so they won't rot, it also had a recon engine just before i had it. I always liked the idea of the 1300 engine and toyota 5 speed box but never done anything about it. On day ......................
