flying out friday for the weekend, 1 gig and home. people have been asking me what it's like, famous for etc etc.... i've never been before, i presume there's punks there as we're playing

but no one i've spoke to, knows anything about the place!!

i think rock music ect is pretty big over there, and its a where quite a few successful motor racers have come from. thats about all i know, oh and it gets cold in the winter

I was there with work a few years ago in march. It was -7 when we landed. When it snowed all the little snow clearers were out in force and there wasn't any of the crap we get in this country when a few flakes start falling.

 

We stayed in Helsinki. It seemed quite 'Russian' in appearance, but if you mention that to them they'll get a bit miffed. People are very friendly and mostly speak english.

Where in Finland are you going? It does hit minus 30 in the winter but it's not supposed to be too cold at the moment. I hope not as my friend Louise is driving (via ferries) to Finland in her Morris Minor over the next few days (her journey ends in Lapland where she starts her new job). Bit of publicity for Glen.
