Bunman Posted December 31, 2009 Author Report Posted December 31, 2009 Thanks guys Appreciate the comments, not posted for a while. Been busy giving the 1798cc Crossflow a freshen up prior to fitment in my 4 door ready to try and break the magic 200bhp barrier?? Getting the sequential box ready for the BDH to go even faster and building a YBJ Cossy for a mate for his Anglia. ( My old Turbo sprint car ) Amongst other things Regards John.
tootmon Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 OMG!!! that sounds awesome! what have you done to the two crossflow motors you run to get 1297cc and 1798cc? had the cranks re stroked?? also what other mods are done to the engines? lovin that video!!
sambo Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 that little Engine revs like crazy!! sounds Like a metal banshee taking a shit.
Bunman Posted January 7, 2010 Author Report Posted January 7, 2010 Cheers Sambo, did you have any luck with your engine?? Regarding your question Tootmon, the 1300 isn't a Crossflow it is a Cosworth BDH and the 1800 Crossflow is on standard stroke (77.6) with an 85.9mm bore. AX block.
fridgeman Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 very best of luck with the magic 200 bhp x/flow,not many people managed that cant get the sound to work on the BDA vid sodding puta !
MK Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 very impressive, what stroke is that 1300? sounds like it likes to rev!
Bunman Posted March 24, 2010 Author Report Posted March 24, 2010 very impressive, what stroke is that 1300? sounds like it likes to rev! 63mm stroke on a long rod configuration to give 1297cc It limits just under 11000rpm, and gives maximum power just under 10k. Thanks for the comments
