Ford Focus 1.8 TDI Diesel

Hello all i know its not old skool but it is ford motor was going good guns but not now it does/nt want to go above 65mph any idea/s dont know weather its turbo or air mass meter can anyone shed light on it thanks

turbo blew out on a 940 wentworth i had and i was lucky to get 45 out of that

check it hasnt blown one off the turbo hoses off first

if a turbo hose has spilt or come off you will get a blowing sound if you aint then are you losing excessive oil or blue/grey smoke present?

we tend to find on the tdi model the fuel pump internal cam breaks up and moves which cause the lack of power with not many symptom other than hard cold starting and loss of top speed. best bet would get a diagnostic machine put on it and see what fault codes pop up cause if the fuel pump or turbo is playing up it will store the codes.

cheers mate will do its a similiar probs that i had once before on another motor turned out to be air flow meter
