I think the Mk1 Escort front arches look real nice on the back of an Anglia. Not many folks notice, just Anglia folks really. Cheers...

BigDave Posted October 2, 2009 Author Report Posted October 2, 2009 Cheers folks, when I was home last I talked myself out of selling. So staying put for now at least. This one is pretty much done now to be honest. I little bit more work inside to sort out, like carpet the roof! But its just about there. Well, I still need a slipper, oops! Got my second Anglia back home now and rolling on its own wheels at long last. No steering colum, but it rolls all the same. Need to work on the spaceframe some more then put a floor in it, also weld the arches on, then work out how to fit the exhausts, wire it all up, plumb the engine in, fit a pedal box, err... basically its years off being finished! Just enjoy the red one as a rolling resto now. Its a right laugh. I will post a video up later of it on the rollers, runs a sweet 240 bhp on standard injectors and turbo. Thats more than enough!
