insaneron Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 Ok Here's a little info from our PB's at the eurofinals. The best we ran was 9.08 seconds @ 153 Mph. We used 400 jets When we did our Dyno session we ended up with a best of 770 bhp N/A We ran our nitrous through the Max Extreme,We also take all the timing out of the car when the Extreme is armed. The engine was retarded by 8 deg for the nitrous and a further 4 deg (which was ramped back in over 2 seconds) was taken out of the engine to try to calm it down on the launch. The Extreme was set so no nitrous for 0.5 second the 20% hit with the rest coming in over 2.5 seconds. Going back over the data it showed we used 1062 BHP and 975lb of torque which gave us just under 300bhp increase and over 300 lb of torque on our dyno figures. We are more than impressed with the figures that we've got back specially when you think that we spun the tyres to badly of the hit and again when the nitrous came in.I'm sure that's what cost us the 8 second. We found our traction problem, the 4 link is to high. So while I'm sorting this out I'm doing the work needed to take the car to the next tag bracket of 7.5sec. Here's to 2 cars running Trev's kits getting down that way. I'm not saying we will but I think we can get into the low 8's. We'll have to see what Santa sends me down from Trev's (Wizard of Nos) in the festive season.

insaneron Posted October 10, 2009 Author Report Posted October 10, 2009 Thanks for that. I'm looking for mid 8's next season. I'm reworking the 4 link to aid with the launch and stop blowing the tyres
