Nicks53 Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 Hi, I'm Nick and a couple of months back I was lucky enough to get a hold of a Mk II Cortina, pre cross-flow, 4 door saloon. As well as being my first classic car, it's actually my first car at all; whilst it does seem a bit daft, I thought it'd be a good starting point to learn about car maintenance as everything seems much simpler than modern cars. Anyway, I'll get some photos of the car up at some point and hopefully within a little while it'll be vastly improved. Nice to see that there is quite a dedicated community to these older cars, beats a Citroen saxo or Peuguot hands down, in my opinion! So much more character!
