Think this date might be a bit early for me? ? my target finnish date was april this year, im from whitby and il be new to the old ford scene, is there many meets up north? most of em ive seen are darn sarth, lookin forward to meetin some new folk and showin off me last 2 years of hard work! Hi Andy - fingers crossed i'll be there, not sure what in yet. The Capri is still off the road has been for a couple of years now (capri will be back running very soon though but not in time for this one)

The Fiesta is also laid up for god knows how long. I might be going in a friends old Ford fingers crossed...

As some of you may know the Scotch Corner Hotel has been sold[as happend last year!!]! It got sold about a fortnight ago, i have been trying really hard this past couple of weeks to sort out the Ford meets with the new Events Manager. At last they have agreed to the meet, but we have to be very careful.. She is going to cone off the front of the hotel and try and get people who are going to the gym and hotel users to park at the front of the hotel. This should leave us all the rear to our selfs. We have to make sure that we don't block the area around the gym and that there is always a road in and out. To help with this i am putting on a few marshals, please try and cooperate with them and help them.

Also as per normal there has to be no wheel spinning, revving engines, loud music etc. If we don't addear to these we will loose the venue.

Top marks to the new owners for letting us continue this meeting as I am sure most would be put off by the thought of a load of cars meeting on their premises and not boosting the hotels business!

Maybe have the RS ready for the meet, was planning on Taxing begining April, when is the soonest you can tax for begining of next month?

Think its only a couple of days if the car isnt already taxed?

(pet hate the none rolling 25 year issue as sure is with most of us)
