zetecmk2 Posted November 13, 2009 Report Posted November 13, 2009 just spent 2 hrs looking at where we used to hang out, everything has changed, i'd forgot loads!!
emu Posted November 13, 2009 Report Posted November 13, 2009 I find all this local history malarkey really interesting. There arent many photo's of Gosport on that site, but here are a few from some books I have here. I think they show just how much some places have changed Both the modern shot and the old one in each pair are taken from the same angle and location the clock tower to the left is a good refernce point here.... this is the bottom of our high street, the window to the top left is the same one in both photos and this one looks at the same area, from the opposite direction Its certainly changed a little bit in the last 50 -60 years!
