Been to nec classic car show today couldnt get in for top gear live but still had a top day the mph show section was (in my opinion) crap

I went and gotta admit ye i agree, it ent been as good as the last few years, some nice cars though, we managed to get into Top Gear live, tht was pretty good, but abit heartbreakin when i saw the mk1 they'd got for one of the last stunt shows

 

Not sure wat they'd done to it, but the roof comes off half way through, would of taken pics but my camera was crap and nuttin came out focused

I'd say the capri was the one they used on Top Gear Tv last series as it sat outside the unit for a while then disappeared, i heard the guy also bought a few Mk1 Escorts in early this year so i'm guessing that was for this.

 

Not been inside for a while now so can't be sure.

Ye mk1 escort had bubble arches and spotlights, pretty sure it was square headlight too

 

And ye the capri had a broadspeed kinda kit on it , and i did wonder weather it was the one they used

They would of had to put a kit on it as the bodywork was bad on the Cappa.

 

He has a Yellow and Orange bubble arch of his own already built which he races and i know he was building another, but i suspect he bought something in for the show.

I did see blue pearl pride of place at the entrance to hall 4 i think where the main stairs to sky walk were took a few snaps but there all a bit dark

I haven't been to the show but those stripes look really good. I wonder who fitted those????
