X-pack-Glyn Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 and a y reg sierra isnt? Both RWD and both pinto.. yet the later car is old skool and the earlier one isnt??? makes no sense.
rudel Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 I too agree, makes no sense at all i also think the mk2 fiesta is also exempt for no reason in my opinion and that is it all it is is my opinion before i get attacked...
over_head_cam Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 You know the answer Glyn, it's been coverd numerous times on the forum. I'll say it again though in case anyone missed it. Capris were first available in or before 1980, Sierras were not. Simple AND it's the rules of THIS site. Not that anyone else can't have an opinion, but It's Darrens site/forum/club and that's he decided from day 1
X-pack-Glyn Posted November 22, 2009 Author Report Posted November 22, 2009 ok then... cant argue with that one. but surely they become of an age where they become oldskool... i mean mk2 fiestas whilst not considered on the forum as old skool id say defo are old skool now, and mk1 jelly moulds gota be getting that way... thing is we come from an era where you would use old skools as a daily, but not so much anymore.. how many of us have a kind of in between as a daily (sierras and late granadas).
over_head_cam Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 Jelly moulds and mk2 fiestas are plasticy and dull with no soul.
over_head_cam Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 Classic - no. Retro - affermative
Retro-gone. Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 on my bike forum i have a cut off date of 1985, the hassle and arguments that occur are unbelievable, i just tell em to f**k off and start their own forum if they aint happy with MY rules.
over_head_cam Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 Good point Tony But we do TRY to be a bit more diplomatic
SmokeEm Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 Good point Tony But we do TRY to be a bit more diplomatic Yeah.... FIFO
w p e Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 surely if you post pictures up of the rear of your mk2 fezza it will be cool just leave the front out of the photo

rallyesport04 Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 surely if you post pictures up of the rear of your mk2 fezza it will be cooljust leave the front out of the photo to the untrained eye maybe but the mk2 has a differant tailgate to a mk1

caprinerd Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 Capris started being made in the 60s so there orgins even though some are late are damn oldskool......simple as cant go by this rule as the escort was made even earlier than the capri and if this was the rule then there would be plastic escorts on here and also mk3 granada`s as well i cant believe this has been keeps getting brought up, my rule of thought is if you can remove the bumpers and still have a body left then its retro if you cant then it aint
