I drove past brantwood auto recyclers today in tottenham,and spotted in there racks a 2 door mk1 escort (olympic blue) 2 x anglias (both in spruce green) and a 2 door mk2 escort (venetian red)..if anyones interested in a resto projects they all looked worth saving and pretty much complete....

 

didnt get chance to have a good look,but if i pass there again ..ill stop...

i dont think they will be for sale m8 as they do classic hot rod racing so there proberly keeping them for spare shells

Never mate the Mk1 is a project of the owners brother and the anglias are race cars

Look down the back he still has 3 Mk1 cortinas tucked away that got scrapped a few years ago

Thats a shame !! i was going to try my luck on the red mk2 next time i past !!!

at least there not going to be scrapped...that was my main concern..
