jimbo Posted November 26, 2009 Report Posted November 26, 2009 Sambo, agreed there are various dishes, but they're all variations on the following: - Pasta, - Rice, - Noodles, - Chicken, - Beef, - Lamb, - Fish, - Pork/bacon, - Bread. Thats it! 9 options! After however many thousands of years humans have been around for, this is all we've got to choose from Have you tried fruit and vegetables? There's quite a few of them
MM77 Posted November 26, 2009 Author Report Posted November 26, 2009 And the other thing... When you eat you only eat. It takes up soooo much time. At least you can drink in the car. Talk on the phone while drinking. Walk while drinking, etc,. Try doing the above with food. No, its a sit-down exercise.... What a complete waste of time.
MM77 Posted November 26, 2009 Author Report Posted November 26, 2009 Have you tried fruit and vegetables? There's quite a few of them I do vaguely remember those things from school
jimbo Posted November 26, 2009 Report Posted November 26, 2009 I find that lunch times are worse for "boring" food ... looking in the fridge each morning and deciding if to have cheese and pickle again or tuna mayo There never seems to be anything more exciting than that We (2 of us) make food for 4, then have a left over portion each the next day. This week has seen us have: Left over Roast Lamb and Veg Jambalaya Beef Stifado Spaghetti and Meatballs It's chilli and butternut squash risotto for tonight tomorrow.

stevepeanut Posted November 26, 2009 Report Posted November 26, 2009 I find that lunch times are worse for "boring" food ... looking in the fridge each morning and deciding if to have cheese and pickle again or tuna mayo There never seems to be anything more exciting than that our lass just bought me a food flask, after years of eating sandwiches day after day. Now I buy tinned foods and heat them up on the hob, put em in the flask, and I get to sit in my van and eat something nice and hot. Soups, currys, caseroles, stew & dumplings, the amount of meals in a tin on the shelf of supermarkets is huge
