MM77 Posted November 26, 2009 Report Posted November 26, 2009 Does anybody else find eating is a right pain in the arse?? If I didnt have to eat I dont think I ever would. Its so distracting. Just when i'm in the middle of something I get hungry then have to eat. And then you have to work out what to eat. Then it has to be cooked, or bought, or whatever. Its a complete and utter chore IMO. Am I the only one?
Admin Vista Posted November 26, 2009 Admin Report Posted November 26, 2009 eating is great, I love good food! oh and if it's a pain in the arse, you're probably trying to put it in the wrong end
Copey Posted November 26, 2009 Report Posted November 26, 2009 gotta agree with Vista, love good food!
omj624p Posted November 26, 2009 Report Posted November 26, 2009 Does anybody else find eating is a right pain in the arse?? I agree 100% Just as much of a pain as putting petrol in the car.
MM77 Posted November 26, 2009 Author Report Posted November 26, 2009 eating is great, I love good food! oh and if it's a pain in the arse, you're probably trying to put it in the wrong end LOL And yes I do love food, but only when there's a social element. Love going out to restaurants with friends and family because thats what i'm supposed to be doing at that moment. But when i'm supposed to be, say working on the car, i'm meant to be working on the car not interuppted by my fookng annoying stomach.
Admin Mk2Jo Posted November 26, 2009 Admin Report Posted November 26, 2009 I agree 100% Just as much of a pain as putting petrol in the car. I HATE having to go to the petrol station and put fuel in the car ... if there was a little man who came around and put it in for me I would be very happy
Andrade Posted November 26, 2009 Report Posted November 26, 2009 I love eating. but i get what you say. I'd be studying or trying to figure out something and after 10 mins the 'mmmm i feel like something' alarm goes off
sambo Posted November 26, 2009 Report Posted November 26, 2009 Eh?? you wierdo! i look forward to every meal of the day! I Love grub! There needs to be a completely new food invented. But if you look in the take-away menu, there are more than one type of curry/chinese etc! Also, look through a recipe book, there are thousands of dishes mate

I did that for a living as my first job after leaving school, the number of plebs that came in and helped themselves to diesel in a petrol car (and vice versa) you wouldn't believe. I made them pay for both fuels too
MM77 Posted November 26, 2009 Author Report Posted November 26, 2009 Sambo, agreed there are various dishes, but they're all variations on the following: - Pasta, - Rice, - Noodles, - Chicken, - Beef, - Lamb, - Fish, - Pork/bacon, - Bread. Thats it! 9 options! After however many thousands of years humans have been around for, this is all we've got to choose from

Tuna and Salmon couldnt taste much different. Beef casserole and beef fajita's are completely different. Whats the problem, foods great. I couldnt live without it
MM77 Posted November 26, 2009 Author Report Posted November 26, 2009 I couldnt live without it Thats it in a nutshell. Its a PITA that I have to eat every single day. If I could just eat twice a week then maybe I would enjoy it more. It would be an occasion rather than a chore that I have to do day in day out.

I made them pay for both fuels too But that would require a trip to the petrol station ... I actually mean someone who comes to the house with a petrol tanker and fills the car up each time And you and Chrissifer need to jog on with what you are implying about a little man putting it in for me
sambo Posted November 26, 2009 Report Posted November 26, 2009 This thread is getting too rude and too wierd for me. I'm off.
MM77 Posted November 26, 2009 Author Report Posted November 26, 2009 This thread is getting too rude and too wierd for me. I'm off. It's still food related. We're now mixing sausages with taco's
Stu_B Posted November 26, 2009 Report Posted November 26, 2009 Try living with a veggie!! You soon get imaginative in the kitchen.
Admin Mk2Jo Posted November 26, 2009 Admin Report Posted November 26, 2009 I find that lunch times are worse for "boring" food ... looking in the fridge each morning and deciding if to have cheese and pickle again or tuna mayo There never seems to be anything more exciting than that
