FredTransit Posted November 29, 2009 Report Posted November 29, 2009 Diesel? What engine would that be?
lee_capri Posted November 29, 2009 Report Posted November 29, 2009 be the same engine as the serria 2.3 or a 2.5 pug engine i do belive but not 100% sure as the mk3 granny's were td and the mk2 ran the pug engine
caprinerd Posted November 29, 2009 Report Posted November 29, 2009 they also did the 2.1 diesel in mk2 form gutless but cheap to run
lee_capri Posted November 29, 2009 Report Posted November 29, 2009 had one with a 2.5di in it once could'nt put the air box on though it would pull a house down
caprinerd Posted November 29, 2009 Report Posted November 29, 2009 2.5di is an awsome engine and strong as well go on for ever
FredTransit Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 DI in a granny?? Would the banana manifold fit in the granny? So you could put the air box at the side of the engine?
In The Pit Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 Ford did a special taxi pack on the MKII Granada Diesel with various extras including heavy duty seats and door panels extra interior lights and ashtrays also some sort of alarm system.
FredTransit Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 Ah, taxi, that make sense now. The DI was put in the Metrocab black cab too.
lee_capri Posted December 8, 2009 Report Posted December 8, 2009 DI in a granny?? Would the banana manifold fit in the granny?
