Dont mind travelling as I want it done right. 1978 2.0 Capri III, spec pretty basic, twin 40s, raised CR, fr30 cam (not installed yet) Standard dizzy needs a curve adjustment. Gonna try H-H for that or are there any closer to home suggestions? Any help would be fantastic! C

HaHa! Well ive come across a place called Westward precision engineering!? I emailed them to see if they will deal with carburation? Ive called a few that wont touch a car unless it has a serial port!!

ok, in the north, triple 7 (aidan corey) just outside cookstown, east coast customs in lisburn although i think theyre more into turbo stuff. in the south martin treacy (westward engineering) is indeed very good, i got my mk1 set up there. theres also a new guy in longford http://www.superchip.ie/ whos supoused to be good, a few guys have got mk2 escort rallycars done there. where are you located.

Thanks for that! I'm in Derry....Westward I stumbled across last nite, they seem like they know their stuff. Triple 7 are closer to home so I'll give them a shout first.

Mk2Jo PMd me about this, sorry for the long reply. If you're in Derry, triple 7 have a good rep in the mountains outside Cookstown. There's a crowd too called powermax engineering beside the dairy on the dual carriageway between Moneymore and Cookstown. They have a reputation for doing good work, but they can be pricey. They turned my friend away with his capri on 40s and cammed because he didn't have an electric pump, regulator and electronic ignition - I think they would do a lot of Japanese stuff and rally cars.
