Trevmk3 Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 anyone fancy a ride out saturday? possibly up to cat n fiddle pub? a537 near Macclesfield id check the weather before you set off up there, the cat and fiddle road has been shut for the last couple of days because of the snow been up Hathersage today which isnt a million miles away and there was enough around but the roads seem clear but i think they may be expecting more also if you consider going up to the Snake pass inn check that its going to be open before as it was shut on Tues when me and my mate went up
lee337 Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 i was out playing in my 4x4 last night, there's hardly any snow in the towns but when you get on the outskirts of buxton theres plenty. the buxton to leek road was closed there was a digger out trying to clear a path through the snow last night. the cat and fiddle was closed and the road between castleton and chapel-en-le-frith was also closed. i ignored a few of the road closed signs and went for a play there were some fair sized snow drifts
