ran out of wire

got my self a 2" exhaust and manifold, and I'm currently cutting it to bits to make it fit a cortina, and just ran out of bloody wire with only a small amount to do, fooking stopcocks

I dont bother getting to big a roll I'm shite with a mig so dont use it that much.

I cant get a 5k roll from my local factors now, and on the industrial estate, I have AP panels, £20 for 5kilos of .6, or FWB (a steel/bolt/tool type place), £12 for 25kilos of .8....but damned if I can get a 25k roll on my clark

 

can you not keep a small roll and transfer from the big one to small one every so often ?? cheap that is

i find its not worth the while getting a big roll unless its getting used regularly. Other wise it just rust and becomes a pain to work with

No just find with the dampness of the garage the wire starts to go if it's sitting doing nothing for too long. Then it starts sticking in the liner!

 

mig wire is just bare metal remember,

I hate it when that happens. Though I have found that using a steel liner has worked wonders.
