caprinerd Posted January 30, 2010 Report Posted January 30, 2010 the new capri has been in the pipe line for years now remember chatting about it back in 2002 to a ford salesman, there`s talk about either a 2.5 or a 3.0 in 4x4 format and run of the mill 2.0 zetec or duratec fwd the shape keeps changing as well its basically a mondeo coupe

I spoke to my mate at Ford yesterday and he said the next issue of Auto Express also has a work of art which is gonna be the next Ford whatever and he nearly fell over laughing at that as well !! Basically it and the Capri featured here are a load of old b*$$*^ks. And us guys have to let it go (or waste a loada time talking about something that just is a waste of time). Alan

Alan Chill out mate, there's no real need to take that kind of attitude towards it, I did specifically say that I didn't know much about it and Ford's intentions in general and that I was only asking if anyone had seen the concept art?

antz Posted January 31, 2010 Report Posted January 31, 2010 Apart from the RS focus, what else is there? The whole range is extremely dull! My girlfriend is looking at getting a new car soon and ford just isnt an option cos its all pants. they did do the mondeo st200 and the st220 which were 3.0 v6. saloon and estates which were brilliant then they threw a diesel in the mix and my dream died
