Ford Capri 2.9i V6 24v Cosworth
I am selling my pride and joy. I have had this car over 10 years now and had alot of good times in her. She started life as 2.8i Special, so comes with all the spec you would expect from that model. There is some service history but I did not keep all the receipts (stupidly) as I never thought I would sell it. I have kept her dry stored for all of this time and only put her on the road from April to October. During the winter months she gets a good polish and covered up.
Wheels
Still on the original 13x7 RS 7 spoke alloys, running 205/60 13 BF Goodrich tyres. Lots of life left in these.
Exhaust
Full stainless steel exhaust system with rear boxes removed (she does sound like a muscle car). The car would benefit with a bigger system being fitted to free up some more BHP.
Exterior
Since having the car she has had new sills, new doors and new front wings. I had the car resprayed in VW Mineral Grey (2007). Its got clear indicators, bullet mirrors, mk2 grill, stamped metal plates and genuine Ford Motorsport Turbo spoiler.
Interior
The original/genuine shark grey half leather interior (standard in this model), Mountney GT steering wheel, chrome window winders, stainless steel dash insert, 8 ball gear knob, rev counter with shift light (the orignal rev counter would not work with the engine conversion. JVC CD headunit and Vibe component speakers in the doors.
Brakes & Suspension
EBC Black Stuff brake pads, drilled and grooved discs, Hel performance brake lines all round. Bilstein shocks all round, anti dive kit, rear axel location kit and a front strut brace.
Engine
Originally this would of had the 2.8 Cologne engine. But I have dropped in the 2.9 24v Cosworth engine, which is putting out about 210bhp. She also has a Roose and Samco hose kit, RS turbo fan (on switch), Hel Performance oil cooler system, K&N induction kit and volvo header tank.
Bad Points
She has got a bit of rust coming through around the sunroof (where you would expect).
