Make it easier for the guy helping you:

 

1.) Pour a pint.

 

2.) Crank the stereo up.

 

3.) Carefully cut cardboard or thin sheets of hard plastic into the shape that you need. Tape the pieces together, and remove the unit from the car.

 

4.) Pour another pint.

 

5.) Put it back in the car carefully to see that this is what you really want.

 

6.) Bring it to Mick the Cabby's house with lunch and a few pints.

 

 

See how easy that was?

 

Seriously, you will find someone to make the part much easier if you do all the leg work first.
