does your starter have a solinoid on the side of it ?

it wont work then because you will need to change your flywheel to match the starter as inertia starters and pre engaged starters teeth are different :thumbsup:

It will work, but not for long. The teeth on your pre engaged flywheel will be ruined by the teeth on the inertia starter motor...

Advice, get the correct part for the car.

You need a pre engaged starter motor if you have the solenoid on the side.

escort tec, gs escorts , your local motorfactors etc etc etc or get your reconditioned
