You could try this....

MR2 engine cover from the breakers yard £20! the downside is the smoothing the filler out and making a new bonnet frame as the vents cover the original bracing. You can just make out the new bracing from the bottom pic :wink:

Also worth considering is the way I went with my bonnet. 3 Door cosworth bonnet vents. Not quite as retro as pressed louvres but should flow more air as the gaps are bigger.

thanks for that..but the bonnets not mine, it's for a friend who's biulding a lotus 7......OK it's not a FORD but we should all help each other :?:?:?
