finally got my escort on the road

i eventually got the mex moted and taxed on saturday flew through the mot so i was pleased, took it out for a drive yesterday and it felt great just being to go out in it, its the first time i`ve drove it since i got it, it drove nice and tight and the standard engine didnt seem to go to bad either, the only thing i found wrong was the clutch is slipping abit, does anyone no the best place to get a new clutch from

if it has the hyd clutch are you sure there has been enough play set on the adjuster rod? there should be quite a bit about 1/2 to 1 inch ish. If its too tight it will slip a bit esp under load. If it needs a new clutch then any decent auto factor will be able to sort you out

cheers didnt think of checking that i`ll have a look at the weekend see if that makes a difference
