Copey Posted April 1, 2010 Report Posted April 1, 2010 not good dave, hopefully it will pass to be honest you are probably just having withdrawals, given time they will go soon enough
escortmad4eva Posted April 1, 2010 Report Posted April 1, 2010 Give it time mate you are doing well just got to think positive keep busy but you will get withdrawals thats where you have to be strong enough and put your family first dont give up mate.
Admin Mk2Jo Posted April 1, 2010 Admin Report Posted April 1, 2010 Dave .... maybe you need to get yourself a past-time that will take up more of your day so that you don't have time to think about the booze. DO NOT GIVE UP NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!! You have done well so far but don't allow yourself ANY slip ups ... you are doing this for yourself and your family How do you occupy yourself? What is a typical day for you from getting up to going to bed?? Tell us and maybe we can suggest some other ideas for keeping your mind busy And not in case anyone of you even thinks about suggesting that
TooAteLeed Posted April 1, 2010 Report Posted April 1, 2010 it does get better dude, slowly other things will start to make you happy and exited. but in the mean time
Retro-gone. Posted April 1, 2010 Report Posted April 1, 2010 maybe this will help in a roundabout way, remember the band i was in? well the lead singer was an alchoholic.. he died last xmas day from alchohol poisoning. so dont drink dave or your kids might not have a daddy this time next year. stern but true mate. ps, on a lighter note im addicted to midget gems and coming off them is ripping me apart
