oldskool4me Posted April 11, 2010 Report Posted April 11, 2010 i passed my test in march and was on the hunt for another mk1 to use as a daily while i finish my other mk1, so i found this on ebay, 51k on the clock very solid car 3 previous owners, i got it 3 weeks ago as a standard car i have done a fair bit to it now, il let the pics do the talking Those are the pics of it from ebay, not the best pics, didnt get my own ones of it standard as the night i got it back i sat it on its arse on pots i decided to take the stripes off the side which i think updates it a bit, once all was off i finished it off with a thin black pinstripe once the outside was sorted i moved onto the interior, totally stripped it out bar the head lining , i put the early black doorcards in the re out of my 78 mk1, also the early black dashboard, set of early mk2 xr2 front seats, xr2 steering wheel and sparco 4 point harnesses, future plans are set of recaros and a roll cage which i have just needs extra bars welded in plus new steering wheel etc will update will more interior shots soon just a few engine bay shots and finally a few shots i got of it down southend the other day
