Bit of advice on personalising a model ( sorry not a ford )

Hi guys,

 

I've just bought this off Flea-bay:

 

 

It's a BBurrago 1/25 model, as you can tell it's a Audi Quattro as used by Gene hunt in Ashes to Ashes.

 

Now i'm wanting to restore it and make it as close to the A2A version as possible.

 

Any advice on strip down, repaint, personallising number plates, changing wheels, sourcing items etc would be greatly recieved.

Think its like a rivet that holds them together isnt it? Drill it out then open car up windows should pop out then, as for removing paint nitromors and a wire brush then its a case of prime it an some paint from halfrauds and bobs your uncle as for plates try going on ebay and finding the modelmoativation guys they should be able to plates for ya easy enough if you mail em

Alan, can you supply them as SUFFIX style plates? had a quick look, but could'nt get it to work as that style!
