Car just passed the MOT, got the insurance now need to tax it, my question is how much is the tax on a 1974 mk1 escort 1300cc.

The other thing is the scorn has expired maybe 4 months ago so will this be a problem when i go to tax it?

Put your reg into the DVLA vehicle enquiry, it will tell you the cost of the tax at the bottom. You will need the V5 to tax it, as the renewal isn't valid. If you haven't heard from the DVLA about the expired SORN you might have got away with it.

its 68quid for 6 months and go to any post office and tax it as normal i did when mine was on sorn no questions asked

You can do it online too, as long as mot and insured (obvious I know) will come in post quick too
