Synergy Posted May 6, 2010 Report Posted May 6, 2010 So following on from the major success of the first meet a second is being held on Tuesday the 1st of June from 18:00hrs For those of you who didn’t manage to make it or haven’t seen the event pictures from the first meet here’s the link:- http://www.oldskoolford.co.uk/phpBB2/vi ... p?t=115936 The intention going forward is to hold this event on the first Tuesday of each month throughout the summer and autumn It would be nice to see more of any OSFs but we were lacking Tinas, Capris and Anglias The catering van will again be in attendance for refreshments, burgers etc Please see the map and directions below. It's about 45 mins north of Scotch Corner, here are directions from the A1:- Take the exit toward Consett/A694/Newcastle/Blaydon/A695 0.3 mi At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A69 0.2 mi At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A69/Derwenthaugh Rd Continue to follow Derwenthaugh Rd 0.4 mi Continue onto A695/Chainbridge Rd Continue to follow A695 Go through 2 roundabouts 2.3 mi At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Stargate Ln 0.1 mi Turn left 407 ft Slight left Destination will be on the right 440 ft

qwerty Posted May 17, 2010 Report Posted May 17, 2010 Got told about this at the Metro Centre Meet, I was the lad who took a pic of the flyer in the windscreen of the sweet blue Mk1 Cortina. Will try to get there but alas I won't be in an OSF as the My Cortina is still off the road.

Yes I remember speaking to you there Will try to get there but alas I won't be in an OSF as the My Cortina is still off the road. No OSF no probs see you in two weeks time

bazpro Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 well to be honest it was a full on rally car so might of been worth the money and reckon he would of took a bit less for it. just looked like it might of been hiding a few rust issues. looked nice but back archs felt like they where full of bodge. think mk1s are to small for me,had a quick release steering wheel on it which was good cos otherwise i couldnt get in .
