think me and my dad are probably gonna man it alone this year as he is running his engine is so gotta take it steady....at the moment its got no starter motor!

 

plus i have no idea whats happening about our arrangements for it yet

i can smell a repeat of the mk1 tranny ex fire engine we went with last year

Yeah the tranny is going but it's been sorted and it flies now. Well, does about 60.... Downhill...

 

We normally first meet up at Woodhall then Trowell but like I say, I don't know what times yet. It depends on how many people we are meeting up with.

the traffic jam last year was immense we must of queued for at least an hour near Nottingham, i had every intention of getting to santa pod about 2pm it was more like 5pm

that traffic jam was a bit bad we were wandering around on the m1 we were so bored. by the time we got to santa pod all the beer we took down was warm

as i remember it we were meeting at Trowell for about 11, i left my house at just before 10, got to the pod around 4:30 ish, i detoured over to the A1 eventually.

 

hope it is more straight forward this year

Spoke to the others and they're not working on the Saturday morning, so we could meet at Trowell at 11.
